This jewelry collection is inspired by the Sumatran elephant, the largest mammal in Indonesia, whose population is declining and is now a critically endangered species.
In Indian folklore, the elephant symbolizes strength, wisdom, and compassion. We then incorporated this elephant symbol into jewelry using buffalo horn carved by highly skilled artisans from Tampaksiring Village, which is then wrapped in silver adorned with Balinese carving motifs by silver artisans from Celuk Village, making this Sumatran elephant collection a harmonious and fitting combination of horn carving and silver carving art.
